    More than an easy draw for Alcaraz and Djokovic. It even seems like it was manipulated, but obviously it's just luck for both of them

    Sinner’s draw has several challenges, yet it is conducive to helping me get at his best by the time he plays against Alcarez and Djokovic (assuming these two will reach the semi and the final, respectively). If he wins against Berrettini ( I am sorry for Berrettini that he could have had the opportunity to reach at least the quarters if he didn’t have to face a top 3 players on the way), Harris (who will overcome Shelton) and Zhang ( who will beat the others in his path), then Sinner will get to play Alcarez ready to upset him again at Wimbledon. Otherwise, it doesn’t matter that he has more or less tough players on his path. To win a Grand Slam tournament, one must beat great opponents, sooner or later. The sinner is coming from an excellent tournament in Halle, where he had a difficult path to victory, and his mentality helps him thrive when he faces difficulties and has to find solutions. Also, he doesn’t get physically tired on grass as he gets on clay. Sometimes, having an easy draw and playing a formidable opponent only deep in the tournament is more dangerous. I support Sinner, and this draw will serve him in prospecting of winning the tournament. Unless any of you were hoping that he could win Wimbledon because the others would be beaten on the way before he had to play against them, he had to beat Alcarez to lift the trophy, and this is the way. Go Jannik.

    I think Novak wants to give it a shot but I still believe he might withdraw along the way, he is not 100% yet, now not sure why people complain about alcaraz being in sinners draw, it's always been like that third seed either falls on the first or second seed draw that's random, now alcaraz and novak have a similar draw for me, and sinner draw seems to be tough just because of alcaraz which isnormal to face a tough opponent in semis , so i dont see any disadvantage here , rune, hurcaz ,zevere fritz , and carlos or siiner in the final i dont see really a walk in the park for novak no sure what you guys are talking about

  • @Nat-le4um
    @Nat-le4um 3 дня назад

    Agree, Sinner and Zverev have the hardest qtrs, then Djokovic , then Alcaraz has the easiest, Alcarz draw in general is the easiest at least to semis if its Sinner

    I don’t think Matteo will be too much a threat unless Sinner’s serve is way off. Matteo’s backhand is vulnerable and yes his mental toughness is not there. Sinner just dealt with numerous big servers in Griek Fabian Zhang and Hubie and all those guys have better all around form than Matteo atm.

      @@user-wd7ue1wd6r Hurkatcz or Ruud? Debatable - But that not the point because they all should pass up to semis. The point is at the semis you have in top half First in rankings meeting the Third and in bottom half Second in rankings meeting the Fourth. Clearly the 1st vs 3rd is tougher match than the 2nd vs 4th. What they should have done is pair 1st vs. 4th and 2nd vs. 3rd, because what's the point in being 1st then. That's why the draw is weird.

    I think Sinner's draw isn't as difficult as it appears to be on paper.Medvedev shouldn't be a threat on grass and Berrettini hasn't been the same player as he was pre injury.He's often choked in games.Still think Berrettini is going to be Sinner's main threat before a potential rematch with Alcaraz though.I thought Djokovic wouldn't enter the draw but he did thus ruining the possibility of Sinner-Alcaraz even if Nole decides not to play at all.Griekspoor stretched him to 3 sets in Halle but Sinner should win in at least 4 across 5 sets.I'd pick Zverev as my dark horse for the title if Nole isn't at his best cause Zverev's Wimbledon record is quite deceptive.He's quite good on grass and his big game suits the surface.

    I remember you being a heavy “buy” in Sinner’s stock several years ago and I agreed with you then as I do now. Lots of talent, and tall but not too tall. We do see taller players now but the dimensions of the court are still the same. This is what holds Zverev and Medvedev back from winning a lot of slams and being world number 1 for a long while. I think the sweet spot now is like 6”3/6”4. Not 6”6. Meanwhile I think despite the tonnage of talent, Alcaraz suffers a bit on his serve in getting free points because he is a little bit short. They listed him at 6”1 a few years ago and literally the ATP was like “uhhh, no. Let’s get the measurement officially.” Alcaraz is actually 5”11 if that. I see Sinner being world number one for a long time, but I wouldn’t count out Djokovic just yet in winning big trophies. He is not “done” as some people have said. Will it be four years at the top? Of course not. But the next two seasons? You’d be a fool to count out Djokovic as a contender and favorite anywhere.
